Tornado Ally

Ally Stewart was known to most as Tornado Ally. She got her name because of the tantrums she always threw when she didn’t get her way. The tantrums were like a raging tornado and all would stand back until the storm was over. No one knew what to expect when it was all said and done.
The name started when she was in pre-school. It had followed her ever since. One would think the name would eventually go away, but the tantrums continued. So therefore, so did her name.
Ally was now a 7th grader at Bean Jr. High. She had high hopes of making the cheer squad this year. Everyone knew she had a voice that could carry over a loud cheering crowd. Her long legs and strong arms would be perfect for the stunts that were required of the cheerleaders. The students trying out put in hours of practice to prepare for the tryout that would take place in the front of the entire student body.
“Let’s do it again,” instructed the cheer coach. “Ready? Okay.”
“Seriously? “mumbled Ally. “Haven’t we done it like 20 times already?” The cheer coach heard her mumble and called her out in front of her peers. Slowly smoke started coming out of Ally’s ears. The fall leaves that surrounded her on the football field began to twirl and swirl around her. Ally started twisting and turning, slowly at first and then faster and faster. The others sprinted away in the other direction to take cover. Tornado Ally had turned into a real raging tornado.
Ally spun and spun until she disappeared high in the air. She was a funnel of destruction, destroying all that appeared in her path. The students stared in dismay. Was Ally really a tornado? They could not believe their eyes.
Soon, she was out of sight. Ally never returned and was never heard from again. Rumor has it that her faint voice can still be heard cheering at the football games.
