Friend: Hey, did you have the concert ticket with you?
You: I'm really sorry, but I think I lost it. I've been looking everywhere for it but I can't seem to find it.
Friend: Are you serious? That was a really expensive ticket and now we won't be able to go to the concert.
You: I know, and I feel terrible about it. I'll do everything I can to make it up to you. I'll even buy you a new ticket if I have to.
Friend: It's just really disappointing. I was really looking forward to going to that concert.
You: I completely understand and I take full responsibility for losing the ticket. Please forgive me for this mistake.
Friend: It's okay, I know it was just a mistake. Just be more careful next time, okay?
You: I will, I promise. I'll make it up to you somehow. Let's still try to enjoy the concert together, even if I have to buy another ticket.
