Total war is a concept in which a country mobilizes all of its resources, both military and civilian, towards the war effort. This includes not only the use of the military to fight the enemy, but also the use of propaganda, economic measures, and other tools to fully engage the entire population in the war. In total war, there are no limitations on the means used to achieve victory, and the goal is the complete destruction or defeat of the enemy. This concept emerged in the 20th century during World War I and World War II, when countries started utilizing all available resources and technologies to win the conflicts.
