Steps:
1. Cut out a triangle shape from the cardboard to serve as the base of the 3D Christmas tree.
2. Cut out several strips of green construction paper in varying lengths to create the layers of the tree.
3. Fold each strip of paper in half to create a crease.
4. Glue the folded strips onto the cardboard base, starting from the bottom and layering upwards to create the tree shape.
5. Trim any excess paper to create a neat tree shape.
6. Decorate the tree by gluing on beads, sequins, and ribbons as ornaments.
7. Create additional ornaments using construction paper and hang them on the tree.
