What did you find most interesting or surprising about America’s role in World War I and its effects at home? What would you like to go into more detail about?
I found it most interesting that America joined the war later than other countries, but played a crucial role in helping to end the conflict. I was surprised to learn about the propaganda and restrictions on civil liberties that occurred on the home front during the war. I would like to learn more about the contributions of American women and minorities during World War I.
