Can you make a story about a hitchhiker, a mistake in a map, and an abandoned house? written like a 7th grader?

Once upon a time, there was a hitchhiker named Lily. She was traveling to visit her grandma in a small town and needed a ride. A kind stranger in a truck stopped and offered her a lift. As they drove, Lily showed the driver the map to her grandma's house.

But there was a mistake in the map! They took a wrong turn and ended up lost in the middle of nowhere. As night fell, they came across an abandoned house on the side of the road. It looked spooky and rundown, but they had no other choice but to seek shelter for the night.

Inside the house, they found dusty old furniture and cobwebs everywhere. Lily was scared, but the driver reassured her that they would be safe. They made a fire in the fireplace and huddled together for warmth.

In the middle of the night, they heard strange noises coming from the basement. Lily was terrified, but the driver bravely went to investigate. He found a family of raccoons living in the basement, causing all the commotion.

Relieved, Lily and the driver laughed at the silly mistake. In the morning, they finally found their way to Lily's grandma's house with the help of a friendly neighbor. They shared their wild adventure with grandma, who was happy to see them safe and sound.

From then on, Lily always double-checked her maps before hitchhiking. And she would never forget the crazy night she spent in the abandoned house with a kind stranger.
