Reflection:
The information in the evolution unit I best understood was the concept of natural selection and how it leads to the adaptation of species over time. The topic that was most challenging for me to understand was the molecular evidence for evolution and how it supports the theory. A strategy that I could use to explain how scientists use patterns in the fossil record and in embryo development as evidence for evolution is to create a visual representation or diagram to illustrate the connections. One topic in this unit I would like to learn more about is speciation because I find the idea of new species forming fascinating and want to understand the process more deeply.
