Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a heavy heart, as I lift up Melissa in prayer while she is in the hospital. Lord, I pray that she may feel your presence and know that you have all power to heal and comfort her during this time of need.
Your word reminds us in Jeremiah 32:27 that "I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" We trust in your promise that nothing is impossible for you, and we place our hope and faith in your healing touch upon Melissa.
I envision Melissa lying in her hospital bed, surrounded by the beeping of machines and the sterile smell of the hospital room. Lord, I pray that you would wrap her in your loving arms and bring peace to her anxious heart. May your light shine upon her, guiding the doctors and medical staff in their care for her.
I pray for strength and courage for Melissa as she faces this challenging time. May she be reminded of your unfailing love and may she find comfort in knowing that you are with her every step of the way.
