The sun warms the air directly.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement? What evidence supports your ideas?

I agree with the statement that the sun warms the air directly. The evidence to support this idea includes the fact that the sun is a massive, incredibly hot star that radiates heat and light. When the sun's rays reach the Earth's atmosphere, they are absorbed by the air and the surface of the Earth, which in turn causes the air temperature to rise. This process is known as solar radiation and is what ultimately warms the air around us. Additionally, on a sunny day, we can feel the warmth of the sun on our skin and see how the air temperature increases under direct sunlight.
