As I reflect on my experience developing habits to become a lifelong Spanish learner, I am proud of the progress I have made and the connections I have been able to establish with Spanish speakers and culture. I have found that regularly conversing with native speakers has not only improved my language skills, but has also deepened my understanding and appreciation of the rich cultural traditions and customs associated with Spanish-speaking countries. Moving forward, I plan to continue immersing myself in Spanish-speaking communities, attending cultural events, and seeking out new opportunities to expand my knowledge and language proficiency.

Knowing Spanish will undoubtedly benefit me in various aspects of my life. Academically, it will open up opportunities to study abroad in Spanish-speaking countries, conduct research in Spanish, and even pursue a career in academia focusing on Spanish language and culture. Personally, speaking Spanish allows me to connect with a wider range of people and form meaningful relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
