Electromagnetic spectrum

The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all possible frequencies of electromagnetic radiation, including radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays. These different types of electromagnetic radiation have varying wavelengths and frequencies, with radio waves having the longest wavelength and lowest frequency, while gamma rays have the shortest wavelength and highest frequency. Each type of radiation interacts with matter in different ways and is used for a variety of purposes, such as communication, medical imaging, and heating.
