In order to remember the definitions of different types of narrative devices and techniques, one strategy I used was

creating flashcards. On one side, I wrote the name of the narrative device or technique, and on the other side, I wrote the definition or explanation. I would review these flashcards regularly to help reinforce my understanding and retention of the information. Additionally, I would try to identify examples of these devices and techniques in the books I was reading or movies I was watching to see them in action and better understand their impact on the storytelling. This hands-on approach helped me to not only remember the definitions but also appreciate how these narrative devices and techniques enhance the overall storytelling experience.
