Initially, my impression of the narrator Josh was that he was confident and somewhat arrogant. He seemed to be a skilled basketball player who was a bit full of himself. However, as the story progressed, I saw that Josh was dealing with a lot of internal struggles, especially after his father's health declined. In the poem "Emergency!!!," Josh's panic and fear for his father's well-being showed a vulnerable side to him that I had not seen before. Additionally, in the poem "Buoyancy," Josh's relationship with his twin brother JB also revealed his softer side and his deep bond with his family. These moments made me see Josh in a different light, as someone who was not just a basketball star, but a complex and caring individual who was going through a difficult time. This shift in perspective changed my impression of him from just being a talented athlete to a multi-dimensional character who was trying to navigate the challenges in his life.
