Here's an idea: 3 friends(two of them are brothers) are playing hide and seek in the forest behind the house of the two brothers. The seeker attempts to find them but has no luck so he calls out to them to say he gives up but they don't respond and he thinks their trying to scare him or something. So he calls out again but no response. So he tries looking for them and starts to hear horrible noises.

As the seeker ventured deeper into the dark forest, the sounds around him grew more intense and frightening. Branches cracked, leaves rustled, and an eerie whispering filled the air. A sense of unease washed over him, but he pushed forward, determined to find his friends.
Suddenly, a chilling scream pierced the silence, causing the seeker to freeze in terror. He called out for his friends, but only the echoes of his own voice replied. Panic set in as he realized something was terribly wrong. The noises continued, growing louder and more menacing with each passing moment.
