Is one contract more favorable than the other? Give reasons to support your response.

The contract between Robert McKenzie and Truss B. Hall is not favorable as it essentially continues the relationship of owner and slave, with Truss B. Hall being required to render "true and faithful service" and obey all commands as he used to when he was a slave. This perpetuates the unequal power dynamic of slavery and does not provide Truss B. Hall with true freedom or autonomy.

In contrast, the contract between the Freedmen's Bureau and Robert Mc Kenzie is more favorable as it is focused on providing protection and support for freedmen, ensuring fair wages and treatment in exchange for labor. This contract is aimed at helping formerly enslaved individuals establish their independence and rights, rather than reinforcing their subjugation and oppression.
