What do we mean when we say teaching is science

When we say that teaching is a science, we are referring to the fact that there is a systematic approach to teaching that involves the implementation of evidence-based strategies and methods to promote student learning and achievement. Just like in other scientific fields, teaching involves experimentation, data collection, analysis, and adaptation based on the results of research and observation. Teachers use research and data to inform their instructional practices, assess student progress, and make adjustments to their teaching to better meet the needs of their students. By approaching teaching as a science, educators can continuously improve their instructional methods and contribute to the overall body of knowledge in the field of education.
