clinical manifestation of oral candidiasis

1. White cottage cheese-like patches on the tongue, inner cheeks, roof of the mouth, and back of the throat

2. Redness and soreness in the affected areas
3. Loss of taste or an unpleasant taste in the mouth
4. Difficulty in swallowing
5. Cracking and redness at the corners of the mouth (angular cheilitis)
6. Dry, peeling lips
7. Oral thrush (a common type of oral candidiasis in infants) presents as white patches on the inner cheeks and tongue that can be easily wiped off, leaving a red, inflamed area behind.
