One reason a European country might decide to join the European Union is to benefit from increased trade opportunities and access to a larger market. On the other hand, a country might decide not to join the European Union due to concerns about losing sovereignty and control over their own laws and policies. Some countries may also be wary of potential conflicts with other EU member states or disagree with the governance structure of the EU.
Goods can move freely between countries within the EU thanks to the concept of a single market, which allows for the free movement of goods, services, people, and capital. This has led to increased trade and economic growth within the EU.
Some benefits of belonging to the European Union include increased trade opportunities, access to funding and resources for development projects, and the ability to work together with other countries on issues such as security and environmental protection.
However, there are also disadvantages to being a member of the EU, such as having to comply with EU regulations and policies, potential loss of sovereignty, and disagreements with other member states on certain issues.
