Samuel had never been to the big city before. He was used to the quiet, small village life where everyone knew everyone else. But when his distant cousin, Alex, invited him for dinner in the city, Samuel couldn't resist the opportunity for adventure.

The train ride to the city was exciting for Samuel. As he stepped off at the bustling train stop, he was immediately confused by the signs and the sea of people rushing past him. He approached a kind stranger and asked timidly, "Excuse me, sir, where can I use a phone?"

The stranger pointed towards a nearby payphone and Samuel quickly dialed Alex's number. "Hey, Alex, I'm here in the city but I'm a bit lost. Can you help me find you?" he asked nervously.

After a short taxi ride, Samuel marvelled at the bright lights and towering buildings of the city. He was so captivated by the sights that he barely paid attention to Alex's directions. As the taxi pulled over, Samuel realized he had no idea where he was supposed to go.

Panic set in as Samuel felt overwhelmed by the noise and chaos of the city. He wandered aimlessly, unable to find his way until finally, he heard a familiar voice calling his name. Alex pulled over in his vehicle and Samuel gratefully climbed inside.

"Goodness, Samuel, you really had me worried there. I told you to follow my directions, not get lost in the lights," Alex scolded affectionately.

As they drove to the fancy restaurant for dinner, Samuel shared his wonder and excitement about the city with Alex. They laughed and talked, enjoying each other's company.

At the dinner, Samuel was in awe of the fancy food and elegant atmosphere. He felt like a character in a fairy tale, experiencing a whole new world. The night was filled with laughter and joy as they savoured each moment together.

As Samuel returned to his village, he couldn't wait to tell everyone about his wild adventure in the city. He had conquered his fears and navigated the bustling streets, all thanks to his cousin Alex. The memory of that night would forever be etched in his mind as the night he truly felt alive.
