Being a global citizen is important because in today's interconnected world, we are constantly faced with global challenges such as climate change, poverty, and human rights violations that require collaboration and cooperation across borders. To help globalize my education, I can take several steps such as participating in study abroad programs, joining student organizations that focus on global issues, taking courses on topics like international relations, global health, or sustainable development, and engaging in service-learning projects that address global challenges.
