Title: Ap-pari-tion (uh-puh-ri-shun) - Noun

Invisible and ghostly presence,
A haunting image of the past,
A flicker of the mind's essence,
A shadow that will forever last.

As in: A memory like a film reel,
Playing on repeat in the mind,
A phantom of a lost love's feel,
An apparition we can never find.

As in: A whisper on the wind,
A ghostly figure in the dark,
A presence we can never rescind,
An echo of a long-forgotten spark.

As in: A dream that's just out of reach,
A specter in the corner of your eye,
A lesson that life is here to teach,
An apparition that will never die.
