As the novel progresses, Josh's character evolves as he learns lessons about humility, family, and loyalty. Events such as his brother's health scare and their father's mentorship reveal Josh's vulnerabilities and depth of character, ultimately changing my initial impression of him from a one-dimensional athlete to a complex and sympathetic individual.
