Why aren't the Buffalo Soldiers talked about in School?

The Buffalo Soldiers, who were African American soldiers who served in the U.S. Army after the Civil War, are not always extensively covered in school because many history curriculums prioritize other topics and events. Additionally, the contributions of the Buffalo Soldiers have historically been overlooked or marginalized in traditional historical narratives. However, efforts have been made in recent years to highlight the history and accomplishments of the Buffalo Soldiers in order to provide a more comprehensive and inclusive understanding of U.S. history.
