Today, I learned that radicals are a mathematical expression that involves a square root, cube root, or other roots of a number. I worked through problems involving simplifying radicals by finding the square roots of perfect squares and simplifying expressions with radicals in the numerator and denominator. By understanding the properties of radicals and practicing simplifying them, I was able to confidently work through the problems and improve my understanding of this concept.
