Nuclear power is the energy source that has low greenhouse gas emissions but has waste products that present a health hazard for humans. Although nuclear power does not produce carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases during operation, the radioactive waste generated from nuclear power plants can be hazardous to human health if not properly managed and stored.
