At the beginning of the book, I thought Josh was a cocky and confident basketball player. Over the course of the novel, I saw that he also had a caring side, especially towards his family and friends. The events that confirmed my initial impression of him were his dedication to basketball and competitiveness, but I also saw a change in him as he learned to deal with difficult emotions and challenges.
