As they punched in the date and time they wanted to travel to, the machine began to whirl and buzz, transporting them to the year 2050. The kids were in awe of the futuristic world around them - flying cars, robots, and buildings that touched the sky.
But their awe quickly turned to fear when they realized they were unable to return to their own time. The time travel machine seemed to be malfunctioning, leaving them trapped in the future.
Panic set in as the kids desperately tried to figure out a way to escape. They searched high and low for a solution, but found nothing that could help them.
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, a familiar face appeared - their friend, who they had left behind when they traveled to the future. She had managed to track down the time travel machine and came to their rescue.
