Code of practice in regard to which conductors must be disconnected after the ELR has operated

After the Emergency Lightning Release (ELR) has operated, the following conductors must be disconnected as part of the standard code of practice:

1. Power supply conductors leading to the affected equipment or area.

2. Grounding conductors connected to the affected equipment or area.

3. Control conductors that could potentially activate the affected equipment.

4. Communication conductors used for monitoring or control purposes.

5. Any other conductors connected to or in close proximity to the affected equipment that could pose a safety hazard if left energized.

It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions and guidelines for safely disconnecting conductors after an ELR has operated to prevent further damage and ensure the safety of personnel working in the affected area.
