The people of the North American Southwest tribes used adobe bricks, a mixture of sand, clay, water, and other organic materials, to build their homes. These adobe bricks were sun-dried and then stacked to create walls for their traditional houses, known as adobe dwellings or pueblos. Additionally, some tribes also used stone, wood, and thatch materials to build their homes in the region.
