Neonate appears well-nourished with appropriate weight and length for gestational age. Skin is pink and warm to touch. Fontanelles are soft and flat. Eyes are open and responsive to light. Ears are symmetrical and positioned correctly. Nose is patent with clear nares. Mouth is intact with pink mucous membranes and sucking reflex present. Head is round and symmetrical with hair present. Arms and legs are appropriately flexed with good tone. Palms and soles are pink and without any lesions. Genitalia are normal for sex with no abnormalities noted. Overall, the neonate is in good general appearance and appears healthy.
