Executive Powers: Foreign Policy Discussion Instructions Answer the following questions in your discussion post: • What is the source of disagreement between the U.S. and the rogue state? • What does each side have to gain or lose? In other words, what are the stakes? • In your opinion, does this nation deserve to be labeled a "rogue state"? How does it attempt to justify its actions? • How do you evaluate our foreign policy toward this nation? What do you think, if anything, should be done differently? make it sound like a 7th grader and keep it short

I believe North Korea is a "rogue state" because they have nuclear weapons and threaten other countries. The U.S. disagrees with North Korea's nuclear program and wants them to give it up. North Korea wants to keep their weapons to protect themselves. I think the U.S. should keep trying to talk to North Korea and find a peaceful solution. Maybe we can offer them something they want in exchange for giving up their nuclear program.
