Give the parts of microscope and their function

1. Eyepiece/Ocular lens: The lens closest to the eye, through which the observer views the specimen.

2. Objective lens: The lens or system of lenses nearest the object being viewed, which magnifies the image of the specimen.
3. Stage: The platform on which the specimen is placed for viewing.
4. Stage clips: Clips that hold the slide in place on the stage.
5. Diaphragm: A rotating disk under the stage that controls the amount of light that reaches the specimen.
6. Coarse focus knob: A large knob used to bring the specimen into rough focus.
7. Fine focus knob: A smaller knob used for fine-tuning the focusing of the specimen.
8. Light source: Provides illumination for viewing the specimen.
9. Base: The bottom of the microscope that provides stability and support for the entire instrument.
