In Ancient Greece, there were three main social classes. The highest class was the aristocrats or nobles, who were rich and powerful and often owned large pieces of land. The middle class was made up of small landowners, traders, and craftspeople. The lowest class was the slaves, who had no rights and had to work for the other classes.
