Question 1:

In pages 89-112 of The Crossover, we learn a lot about both Josh and JB through their speech and actions. Josh is shown to be a dedicated and passionate basketball player through his intense training and competitive spirit. He is also shown to be caring and compassionate towards his family, especially his twin brother JB, when he takes the blame for JB's actions. JB, on the other hand, is shown to be more rebellious and impulsive. He often makes risky decisions without thinking about the consequences, such as when he steals a car. However, he also shows his love for his family through his loyalty and willingness to protect them. Through their speech and actions, both Josh and JB are portrayed as complex characters with their own strengths and flaws.

Question 2:
Based on their descriptions in the book, I picture Josh as a tall and athletic teenager with a strong presence on the basketball court. He is described as having a high-top fade haircut and being known for his exceptional basketball skills. He is also shown to be focused and determined, always putting in the extra effort to improve his game. JB, on the other hand, is described as having an afro and being slightly shorter than Josh. He is portrayed as more stylish and outgoing, often wearing flashy clothes and accessories. JB is also shown to be more impulsive and rebellious, often getting into trouble. Overall, both Josh and JB are depicted as athletic and talented, but with distinct personalities and styles.

Question 3:
Both Josh and JB are changing throughout the story, as shown through various events and details in the text. One significant change is their shifting relationship. In the beginning of the book, they are portrayed as inseparable twins who do everything together. However, as JB becomes more involved with his new girlfriend, Alexis, and his own interests, their bond starts to weaken. Another change is JB's behavior. He becomes more rebellious and impulsive, taking risks and making decisions without considering the consequences. This is seen when he steals a car and gets into trouble with the police. On the other hand, Josh is shown to be maturing and becoming more responsible. He takes on the responsibility of taking care of his brother and tries to guide him on the right path. Overall, both Josh and JB are undergoing significant changes in their personalities and relationships as the story progresses.
