Pick a room in your house that you would like to remodel. Make a blueprint of the remodeled room on a coordinate plane. Since you can’t draw a life-size picture of the room, you will need to use a scale for your drawing. Here’s an example of how a scale works.

A rectangle is graphed and shaded on a coordinate plane. The rectangle’s dimensions are 3 units by 6 units. Below the grid it says that the scale is 1 unit is equal to 1 foot.
Suppose the figure on the coordinate plane represents a desk. According to the scale, 1 unit on the coordinate plane is equal to 1 foot in real life. On the grid, the desk’s dimensions are 3 units by 6 units. Since 1 unit is equal to 1 foot, this desk is 3 feet by 6 feet in real life. make a diagram with furnisher in it and a passage explaining it

I have chosen to remodel my living room, which is currently a bit outdated and cramped. I have decided to make it more modern and spacious by rearranging the furniture and adding some new elements.

To begin, I will need to create a blueprint of the remodeled living room on a coordinate plane. I will be using a scale of 1 unit is equal to 1 foot for this drawing.

On the coordinate plane, I will sketch a rectangle to represent the dimensions of the room. Let's say the room is 15 units long and 10 units wide. Therefore, the actual dimensions of the room will be 15 feet long and 10 feet wide.

Next, I will designate the different areas within the living room. I will draw a square to represent the television area, which will be placed in the center of the longest wall. This area will be 5 units by 5 units, so in real life, it will be 5 feet by 5 feet.

On one side of the television area, I will create a seating area by drawing a rectangle. The dimensions of this area will be 6 units long and 9 units wide, resulting in a seating area that is 6 feet long and 9 feet wide.

Opposite to the seating area, I will designate a small reading nook by drawing a circle. This area will be 3 units in diameter, equivalent to 3 feet in real life.

Lastly, I will add some new furniture to the room. I will place a couch in the seating area, which will be drawn as a rectangle. I will also add a coffee table in front of the couch, which will be drawn as a smaller rectangle. Additionally, I will include a bookshelf next to the reading nook, which I will draw as a vertical rectangle.

In the passage, I have explained the dimensions and layout of the remodeled living room, complete with a television area, seating area, reading nook, couch, coffee table, and bookshelf. The blueprint on the coordinate plane, using a scale of 1 unit equal to 1 foot, allows for a visual representation of the remodeled room.
