The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a public work relief program in the United States during the Great Depression. In Georgia, the CCC worked on various projects including reforestation, building bridges and roads, constructing campgrounds and picnic areas, and improving state parks. They also worked on soil conservation projects and fought forest fires.
