My science teacher us us about how our eyes only see the color of something because of the sunlight. and he asks us what is one thing we can really see with our eyes without the sunlight? I tried searching all over google but couldn't find it.

  2. Our eyes have rods and cones as light receptors. Rods see only variations of black and white, while cones see color. However, the cones are less sensitive to light, requiring more light to function. The rods are more sensitive, functioning in relatively dim light.

    However, the higher levels of light can also be artificial to allow the cones to see color. In this way, they can still see color without sunlight.
