Is road safety a voluntary service

Road safety can be both a voluntary service and a legal requirement. Many individuals and organizations volunteer their time and resources to promote road safety through various initiatives such as awareness campaigns, educational programs, and advocacy. However, governments and transportation authorities also play a crucial role in ensuring road safety through the implementation and enforcement of laws and regulations, mandatory driver training and licensing, infrastructure maintenance and improvements, and monitoring and penalty systems. So, while some aspects of road safety may rely on voluntary efforts, overall road safety is a collective responsibility shared by both individuals and authorities.
