In order to see the CAN-SPAM Act in action, all you have to do is open your inbox, click on a message from a company you subscribe to, and scroll all the way to the bottom of the message. If the company is based in the United States, you’ll notice that they’ve included what two things thanks to the CAN-SPAM Act?

Thanks to the CAN-SPAM Act, a company based in the United States will include the following two things at the bottom of their email messages:

1. A clear and conspicuous unsubscribe link: The email will provide a visible and functional unsubscribe link or button, allowing recipients to easily opt out of future email communications from the company. This is a requirement under the CAN-SPAM Act to provide recipients with a way to stop receiving emails.

2. A valid physical postal address: The email will include a physical mailing address of the company or sender. This is also a requirement mandated by the CAN-SPAM Act, as it helps establish the sender's credibility and provides recipients with a means to contact the company.
