What does Miss Maudie explain about Authur Radley's Father?

In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, Miss Maudie explains that Arthur Radley's father was a very strict and religious man. According to Miss Maudie, Mr. Radley didn't believe in allowing his children to have any pleasure and thought that everything enjoyable was a sin. As a result, Mr. Radley kept his son, Arthur (also known as Boo Radley), confined inside the house and didn't allow him to interact with the outside world. This strict upbringing, along with some personal tragedies, caused Boo Radley to become reclusive and develop a reputation as a mysterious and spooky figure in the neighborhood.
