It leads to rising global temperatures, melting ice caps, sea-level rise, increased frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, and disruption of ecosystems.
Global warming: Global warming is a subset of climate change and specifically refers to the increase in Earth's average surface temperature. It is primarily caused by the release of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, into the atmosphere through human activities. Global warming has numerous adverse impacts, including the melting of glaciers, rising sea levels, changes in rainfall patterns, heatwaves, and the extinction of certain species.
Human trafficking: Human trafficking refers to the illegal trade and exploitation of individuals through force, fraud, or coercion for various purposes, such as forced labor, sexual exploitation, child soldiering, and organ trafficking. It is a grave violation of human rights and involves the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of persons by means of threat, use of force, or deception.

Firearms trafficking: Firearms trafficking involves the illegal trade and transfer of firearms, ammunition, and their components across national and international borders. It contributes to the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, which can exacerbate armed conflicts, fuel violence, and impede development efforts. Firearms trafficking enables criminal activities, terrorism, and poses a severe threat to public safety, particularly in areas experiencing political instability or high crime rates.
