Dad only hits the boys or while them with the belt, he. Does not the girls. I have three brothers 4 girls girl I am the oldest and a boy of 14.

Once upon a time in a small medieval village, there lived a family of seven. They resided in a humble cottage on the outskirts of the village. The family consisted of a loving father, a caring mother, three rowdy boys, and four gentle girls. Life was simple, yet filled with adventure, especially for the eldest girl and her mischievous brothers.

One sunny afternoon, the siblings found themselves in a playful mood. The boys were eager to test their strength, so they decided to engage in a friendly wrestling match. In the heat of the moment, the oldest girl, being fiercely protective of her siblings, accidentally hit her younger brother a bit too hard. Realizing what she had done, guilt washed over her.

Knowing the consequences for their actions, the girl anxiously awaited her father's return from the fields, watching the sun slowly descend behind the hills. As the last rays of sunlight disappeared, the cottage grew dark, and the distant laughter of children playing in the village faded away.

Finally, the sound of footsteps echoed outside the cottage, and the door creaked open. The girl's father entered, a hardworking man with a stern face, carrying a worn leather belt. He had a reputation as the village blacksmith, known for his strong hands and unyielding sense of discipline.

Her heart pounding, the girl was summoned to the common room where her father sat in his sturdy wooden chair, the faint scent of iron still lingering in the air. The girl, with a heavy heart, obeyed her father's command, taking her place in the chair beside him. The atmosphere was thick with tension as they awaited the impending punishment.

Meanwhile, her brothers, feeling guilty for having instigated the wrestling match, watched from a distance, understanding the consequences but unable to bear the sight of their sister's impending suffering. They stood silently, their fear for her etched on their faces.

As the door to the woodshed swung open, the girl's heart skipped a beat. The eerie silence was broken by the sound of the belt slowly sliding through the loops, amplifying the dread in the room. Gripping the armrests of the chair, the girl closed her eyes, mentally preparing herself for the punishment she deemed necessary for her actions.

However, there was a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness. As her father walked toward the woodshed, she remembered: her father only disciplined the boys, never the girls. Perhaps the severity of her transgression would be spared.

While her brothers quietly prayed for their sister's safety, their fears were partially allayed. Instead of the anticipated whipping, the sound of distant footsteps growing faint indicated her father had chosen a different course of action. The girl breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that her punishment would be less severe.

Outside, the wind rustled through the surrounding trees, and the girl could make out the soft laughter of her sisters and their mother preparing supper. Although she had to endure her share of consequences, she took solace in the fact that her actions were not met with the same strictness as her brothers.

As the night enveloped the village, leaving behind a sky full of twinkling stars, the family gathered around the dinner table. The comforting aroma of freshly cooked food filled their home, overshadowing the earlier sorrows. They ate in silence, savoring the warmth of family unity amidst the cool medieval night.

From then on, the eldest girl and her brothers learned the importance of restraint. Guided by their father's teachings, they grew wiser and stronger while basking in the love and unity their family embodied. Together, they embraced the challenges and joys of life in their medieval world, forging unbreakable bonds that would last a lifetime.
