The Track Changes Feature, found on the Review Tab, allow users to do at least these two things:

Keep track of changes made within a document, and Lock Tracking
Keep track of the fonts used in a document, and Lock Tracking
Keep track of changes made within a document and view rulers and gridlines
Use the Arrange All and New Window Feature
