Then,” the knight went on, “Cast a vote, for Atkillra or Malok, the winner will be made king or queen,” the knight took hold of a light bowl of salad, “There are 179 of us here, and the vote can’t become a draw, so lets do that, then this council can end and—we will end the day with a ruler, what say you all??”

“Who is to say Atkillra’s supporters won’t start a civil war should we choose Malok?” Sir Darodius asked, his hands clasping a bowl of melty salad and smelly tuna, “Look at what Tablar did! How is the knight who got stabbed doing anyway? I mean, it looked to me like he was going to die, there was a lot of blood.”
“Tablar alone is reason that Malok should be made king, if Atkillra takes the throne—then Tablar will be freed and given many benefits I presume,” One knight spoke slowly his bowl of moist rice in his strong hands.

“True,” another knight chimed in, his fingers gripping a plate of steaming vegetables, “If Atkillra becomes queen, she may pardon Tablar and reward him for his loyalty. That could lead to further unrest and division among us.”

“But what about the people who support Atkillra?” a knight with a plate of succulent roast beef questioned, “Will they not feel betrayed if Malok is chosen? We must consider their loyalty and ensure a smooth transition of power.”

A knight with a plate of fresh fruits spoke up, “Perhaps a compromise can be reached. We can suggest a co-rule, where Atkillra and Malok will share the responsibilities of the kingdom. This way, both factions can have a stake in the governance, and it may mitigate the risk of a civil war.”

The knight with the light bowl of salad nodded, “That could be a viable solution. It will require both Atkillra and Malok to set aside their differences and work together for the betterment of our kingdom. We must also ensure that Tablar's actions are properly addressed and any potential threats are neutralized.”

As the discussion continued, the knights debated various options, weighing the potential consequences and benefits of each. They understood the weight of their decision and the impact it would have on the kingdom. In the end, they sought a resolution that would not only unite their divided factions but also uphold the stability and prosperity of their realm.
