What did Siddartha Gautama, also known as the Buddah, want to achieve?

Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha, wanted to achieve enlightenment and liberation from the cycle of suffering and rebirth known as samsara. He sought to understand the true nature of existence and find a path to end suffering. Ultimately, his goal was to help others attain liberation from suffering as well by sharing his teachings and establishing a community of followers, known as monks and nuns, who would follow the path he discovered.
