Divide 1 2/5 by 21.
I got 15 as the answer.
If that is 2/5
(2/5)/21 =
since 21 is actually 21/1
flip and multiply
(2/5)*(1/21)= 2/105= 0.01904

If it's
(12/5)/21= 0.1143
Please be more specific as to whether that is a #1 or 1 is part of the question because you put a space in between the 1 and 2/5 which would lead to different answers but not 15.
Then again it could have been a fraction with
1 2/5 = 7/5 if this is true...
(7/5)/21= 0.0666
Writing it differently can mean alot of things you see.
I also got 0.6666666666666 when I used a calculator. I typed 1.4 / 21.
How'd you get 15?
1 is part of the problem.
1 and 2/5 divided by 21
The possible answers given are :
a. 1/15
b. 1 2/105
c. 15
d. 29 2/5
It's a- 1/15 = 0.666666666
(1 2/5)/21 = (7/5)/21 = (7/5)x(1/21) =
1/15.
I just copied it as a decimal (I didn't copy all the 6's) but if I had used the fraction function I would have also gotten 1/15 which is the same.
To divide the mixed number 1 2/5 by 21, you need to convert the mixed number into an improper fraction and then divide it by 21.
First, convert the mixed number 1 2/5 into an improper fraction:

Now, divide the improper fraction 7/5 by 21:
7/5 ÷ 21
To divide fractions, you need to invert the second fraction (21) and then multiply:
7/5 ÷ 21 = 7/5 * 1/21
Multiply the numerators and denominators together:
7/5 * 1/21 = 7/105
So, the answer is 7/105.
However, you mentioned that you got 15 as the answer. If you believe that is the correct answer, then please double-check your calculations to ensure accuracy.
