When the Supreme Court finishes the process of reviewing a case, the final step when an opinion is being delivered in court is that the Chief Justice or a Justice assigned by the Chief Justice reads a summary of the Court's decision and the reasoning behind it. This is known as delivering the opinion of the Court.
