No one would believe me. I was almost positive, but I couldn’t keep it a secret any longer. I had to get it off my chest. So, I decided to tell Roger, my best friend. It was a Saturday night, and Roger was staying the night at my house. We played video games, watched a movie, and now it was time to tell him my secret. “Hey, man,” I started. “I must tell you something, but you can’t tell anyone.” “Sounds interesting,” he replied and sat up straight. “You know the old mansion up on Baker Hill?” I asked. “The creepy one?” Roger questioned. Roger shook at the thought of the abandoned house that no one ever really talked about. There were many rumors about the old man who used to live there and what really happened to him. “Well, the other day, I was out for a stroll. I wandered up the hill to the old mansion and thought I would peek inside,” I started.
