D. One of the characters from this book that I would like to befriend is Amanda, the main protagonist. Amanda is smart, resourceful, and always willing to help others. She has a strong sense of justice and is determined to make a difference in the world. Throughout the book, Amanda's courage and resilience shine through, and I admire her for that. I feel that being friends with Amanda would not only be inspiring but also educational as she constantly uncovers new information and problem-solves. I believe that her positive outlook and willingness to take action would encourage me to do the same in my own life.
