Three pathogenic disease and their causal agents

1. Influenza: The causal agent of influenza is the influenza virus. There are different types and subtypes of influenza viruses, including influenza A, B, and C. Influenza can cause respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, and fatigue.

2. Tuberculosis: The causal agent of tuberculosis is a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis primarily affects the lungs, causing symptoms like a persistent cough, weight loss, night sweats, fever, and fatigue. It can also affect other parts of the body, such as the kidneys, spine, and brain.

3. Malaria: The causal agents of malaria are parasites of the Plasmodium genus. These parasites are primarily transmitted through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. Malaria can cause symptoms such as high fever, chills, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, and vomiting. If left untreated, it can lead to complications and potentially be fatal.
